On November 29th and 30th, the European hydropower sector will meet for the 9th time at RENEXPO® INTERHYDRO in Salzburg. More than 100 exhibitors, 2,500 visitors and 500 conference participants are expected.
The 2-day-conference includes topics such as current challenges for the industry, technical innovations as well as energy storage an ecological aspects.

As many European hydropower companies and producers seek business opportunities outside the EU, especially in Africa and Latin America, the 1st Africa Small Hydropower Forum will discuss, analyse and map solutions to the challenges to financing small and medium hydropower plants in Africa. It aims to create opportunities for partnership and project development by bringing together leading project developers and key financing institutions.
The European Renewable Energies Federation (EREF) and the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP) promote these activities by acting as information hubs between European, African and international initiatives and European renewable energy stakeholders.
The 1st Eastern European Hydropower Forum will be offering Eastern European associations and companies their own platform for information, exchange and discussion for the first time.
The European Hydropower Association Meeting is aimed especially to representatives of hydropower associations in Europe to define common interests and take further steps in improving the market conditions for the hydropower sector.

aim to create opportunities for partnership and project development by bringing together investors, project owners, project developers, members of scientific, research and industrial sectors from Africa and Europe.
